The eXplorer 50 is a long-range aluminium centreboard yacht designed by Bernard Nivelt and built by Futuna Yachts for passagemaking, expedition sailing, and comfortable life aboard - built around strength, autonomy and offshore practicality.

- Variable draft 1.12–3.30 m via pivoting centreboard for shallow access and deep-water performance; 5,200 kg ballast for strong offshore stability.
- Aluminium 5083H111 construction with robust structural framing and watertight compartmentation; CE Category A "Ocean" certified.
- Sail area upwind 130 m²; carbon mast and boom optional. Rig: self-tacking staysail, Hydranet genoa and mainsail, gennaker, asymmetric spinnaker.

- Wheelhouse offers protected watch keeping, heated comfort in cold climates, and shaded living in the tropics.
