This Bruce Farr design was built by Mc Dell Marine. Matrix  was launched in 1995 and has been lovingly cared for by the same owners since, and is now on the market for the first time since new.

This boat is from a generation of kiwi cruising yachts that are fast, comfortable and solidly built. She is a great size for New Zealand cruising, with a medium sized draft of 2m that allows you to anchor nice and shallow, but without compromising sailing upwind.

This boat is in immaculate condition with a beautifully finished teak interior. It has been designed with attention to detail, with excellent ventilation throughout, including two opening hatches in the main cabin - one opening forward and the other aft.There is a generous amount of room on board for entertaining guests or comfortably housing the family.

The cockpit is very comfortable, with great storage, high backed seats and a dismantable table. The decks are clean and uncluttered, with quality fittings and good systems on board such as the split mainsheet coming to a dedicated winch on each side. The Genoa furler is built into the anchor locker to be flush with the deck, bringing the tack of the sail lower for better efficiency and speed.

The engine was removed in 2012 for a complete overhaul, and has great service history and low hours of less that 2000.
