The Beneteau Swift Trawler 48 is designed for owners seeking the space, range and onboard comfort required for extended coastal and offshore cruising.

With a range exceeding 600 nautical miles and a 1,930-litre fuel capacity, it is well suited to exploring New Zealand’s coastline, cruising the South Pacific or spending extended periods aboard.

Wide walkaround decks, high guardrails and joystick control support safe movement and confident handling. The hydraulic swim platform provides easy access to the water and can carry a tender weighing up to 350kg.

The 20m² flybridge offers separate helm, dining and lounge areas, providing substantial additional living space. Below, the three-cabin, two-head layout accommodates family and guests, while panoramic windows bring excellent natural light into the raised saloon.

INTERIOR

Well thought out & generous, the saloon features a larger L-shaped aft galley with a dinette that can seat up to 8 people comfortably. The helm is in close proximity to the dining area and galley and offers excellent visibility through large bridge windows and a sliding glass side door. Large hull windows with inset port lights give the boat plenty of natural light and cross-ventilation in every cabin. The 3 cabin layout can easily sleep up to 8 people, with the saloon dinette converting into a double bed with wraparound privacy curtains. Plenty of optional extras are offered to take your comfort to the next level, such as a 23-bottle wine cooler, an induction stove, and a washer-dryer.

EXTERIOR

Striking and stylish, the exterior design alludes to the sleek teak details and stainless steel fashion plates seen on the Grand Trawler 62. Simple and well designed, this boat has safety at sea in mind with numerous handles and available points of contact. The large aft cockpit contributes to indoor and outdoor flow with thoughtfully designed seating and a folding table, perfect for entertaining. The double transom gate opens to a generous swim platform and an optional hydraulic lift. An expansive flybridge with transformable seating for soaking in the ocean views in all directions is complemented by the optional T-top with an inset sliding soft top.

PERFORMANCE

The Swift Trawler 48 is designed with a semi-planing hull that optimises fuel efficiency and allows you to enjoy the sea with confidence. The slender, flared bow is designed to cut through the sea and make your passage comfortable and enjoyable. The economical hull design and 1930L of fuel allow for a cruising range of +600 nm at 9 knots of displacement speed or 280 nm at 18 knots of efficient planing speed while retaining a fuel reserve of 10%.
