Thunderballs is a great option for Kiwi boating, with her refined internal finishes, presenting a new, fresh look. Inside the spacious cabin, a generous V-berth with a plush infill cushion creates a full double bed—ideal for overnight stays—and there’s a pump-out toilet as standard. Great access to machinery and best of all its simple. The new Twin Volvo Penta 280 V6 engines are stand out feature with unreal fuel economy, torque, and balance of the vessel. The way these engines are mounted gives the 2700 an open and uncluttered cockpit with no engine box as in the previous models. Safe to say she performs well.
The cockpit boasts a convertible dinette, storage and large icebox on the port side, while the helm seating unit maintains a commanding view while being social. All in all a friendly to use, versatile open layout that is the ideal coastal day boat, making easy work of the afternoon sea breeze on the homeward journey.
