Kwanza, meaning first in Swahilli, will have you looking no further for the yacht of your dreams. She has been kept in immaculate condition, and is sure to impress with the high standard of presentation and cleanliness. She is set up for blue water cruising to the islands and beyond, with a maximum beam of 4.74m, the cockpit is huge and can be shaded by the full length bimini and connecting dodger. The open transom and twin helms lead to a hydraulic dropdown swim platform, perfect for swimming and dinghy access, relaxing and entertaining. The teak decks are in great condition, a reflection of the loving maintenance that has gone into this yacht.
The interior is elegant and modern. Beneteau is known for their use of space, so this boat is roomy and comfortable. Large windows let plenty of light in. The 3-cabin layout has a queen island bed in the bow cabin, and two doubles to aft with mattresses that have never been slept on.
In 2018 a stainless-steel solar arch with dingy davit system was installed. This design provides great placement of the solar panels, and lots of storage for dingy, lines and fenders.
Her full sail wardrobe includes:
- Mainsail and Genoa, overhauled by North Sails 2021
- New Spinnaker 2019
- Inner Foresail and Storm sail 2015
The rig (2013) has been checked recently in New Zealand.
