Named after the beautiful island Eleuthera in the Bahamas, this yacht is Bluewater ready for cruising, back to her namesake island and beyond.

This beautifully refurbished boat has an extensive list of upgrades, inside and out. This comfortable cruiser features a completely enclosed cockpit with dropdown clears all the way around. Safe, dry, and comfortable with plenty of soft furnishings, all controls are at the helmsperson’s touch. The sails can be unrolled from the cockpit, and trimming is made easy with the electric winches.

The interior of the boat has been redone with beautiful timber floors. All headliners were replaced in 2015.  The glass on the hatches was replaced also in 2015.  The hatches have SS safety bars. The countertops have been replaced with Corian. Additional cabinet storage has been added in the galley. The old-fashioned washing machine has been removed and replaced with a modern washer-dryer, repositioned near the navigation table. A new oven, microwave and rebuilt freezer complement the modernized galley. The refrigerator fridge is a drawer type 185L Frigo Boat that is keel cooled.

Soft goods have all been replaced with a high-end finish.

Electronics have been upgraded, with two modern chart plotters, (nav station and cockpit), stereo, SSB radio and VHF. Other features include:

-      Watermaker Dessalator Duo 100.

-      An awesome dingy davit/ solar arch system w/3 X 150 W panels.

-      New 2 x Victron 2460 chargers 2019.

-      Generator (2005)

-      New Zealand shore power WOF

-      Two autopilots, electric on the helm and hydraulic on the rudder bellcrank

-      Raymarine depth, speed, and wind gear new 2015.

The standing rigging was replaced in 2020, with all new running rigging in 2015.
The main and headsails are 18 months old, North Sails 3DI Nordam.  The Mizzen was replaced in 2005.

The Engine has been religiously serviced every 100 hrs, with many upgrades including:

-          New Turbo (2021)

-          New SS exhaust elbow(2021)

-          New Injectors (2020)

-          New Engine room insulation (2015)

The C drive casing (originally Aluminium) was replaced in 1991 with the more reliable cast iron version.

The list goes on, with rudder bearings removed, serviced, and re-installed in 2015, Re-built bow thrusters, a copper coat antifoul, and Hydraulic steering serviced last year. The bow roller has also been modified to a dual roller system, with a beautiful stainless steel Ultra-anchor.  The chain has been regalvanized in 2020. 

This boat has been lovingly refitted to a high standard. All the hard work and major jobs have been ticked off and she is blue-water ready with all the safety gear and equipment needed for offshore cruising.  Additional value is also derived from the extensive list of spares and tools.  (CA €50000).
