DESIGN

Excess 15 was designed by the successful and awarded naval architect agency, VPLP design. Patrick Le Quément focused on its exterior design with Nauta Design on the interior, creating a vessel which embodies both sportsmanship and quality. Sleek lines and elegant proportions create a well-balanced and refined boat with a strong personality. The 15 is the perfect model for those seeking endurance and practicality whilst being able to share this experience with a groups of friends and family.

PERFORMANCE

The view from the double helm, the finesse of the sail trimming and the high aspect rig ratio are all designed to create a well-proportioned vessel capable of both coastal and off-shore cruising. Borrowing from Monohull design, the double aft helm stations give ultimate control at the helm while ensuring the skipper never misses a beat with guests. Easy manoeuvrability make this a favourite for those seeking user-friendliness.

INTERIOR

With larger living spaces than her 12 model counterpart, the Excess 15 offers an incredible 3-6 cabin option layout with plenty of space for friends and family. The spacious living areas and galley unfold to reveal a minimalist décor of Cedar and white blend woodwork with the option of three ambient designs. The overall look is simplistic and practical with the essence of great design.

EXTERIOR

The Excess 15 is an Entertainers dream with a large open cockpit area and seating area for more than 10 people. Up forward features an oversized daybed overlooking twin trampolines. The fully retractable sunroof is offers ample sunlight, fresh breeze at anchor or the opportunity for star gazing.

The prestigious British Yachting Awards is an annual awards ceremony for the best in class, and features the biggest multihull brands nominated in this competition. In late 2019, voting received for the subscribers of both Sailing Today and Yachts & Yachting, announced the new winner; Excess 15.
