Happening this weekend!!

Join fellow Lagoon owners for a relaxed weekend on the water as part of the PIC Harbour Classic, one of New Zealand’s largest on-water events.

Race the Harbour Classic course or simply cruise across to Motuihe Island, where we will regroup for a Lagoon Owners beach gathering with food, drinks, and snacks.

The focus is simple: bringing the Lagoon fleet together and enjoying a great weekend on the water.

With over 50 boats already registered, it’s shaping up to be an epic start line.

Whether you choose to race or take part in the Owners Rally cruise, the focus is simple - getting the Lagoon fleet together and enjoying a great weekend on the water.

Event Details

Dates: Friday 20 March – Sunday 22 March
Start Line: North Head – 12:00pm Saturday
Berthing: Jellicoe Harbour (Friday & Saturday nights)
Owners Social: Motuihe Island

The Plan:

Friday Night

Berth in Jellicoe Harbour from 12:30pm in the 36° reserved area, with Lagoon boats grouped together - creating a great social base for the weekend, especially for those coming in from out of town.

7:00pm - Harbour Classic event briefing - For those wanting to race.
7:30pm - PIC Harbour Classic Welcome Party at Wynyard Pavilion - All welcome.

Saturday

10:00am - Boats begin departing Jellicoe Harbour for the start line
12:00pm - Harbour Classic start line at North Head

From here you can choose your style of day:

Race
Follow the Harbour Classic course (final course confirmed on the day based on conditions), then head across to Motuihe Island once finished.

Owners Rally Cruise
Join the Owners Rally fleet at the start line, then peel away together and cruise across to Motuihe Island at a relaxed pace. A great chance to cruise alongside other Lagoon owners and arrive together. Afterwards, both the racing and rally fleet will regroup at Motuihe Island for a relaxed beach gathering with food, drinks, and snacks.

From Motuihe, boats can either:
• Return to Jellicoe Harbour for prizegiving (5:30pm), or
• Stay on and enjoy the afternoon at anchor

Evening
5:30pm - PIC Harbour Classic Prizegiving (Wynyard Pavilion)
From 7:30pm - Afterparty on the Osprey (or continue onboard your boat in the Jellicoe with the fleet)

Sunday
Depart Jellicoe Harbour and head home at leisure.

Rally Entry

$80 per boat (includes up to 4 people) - Additional crew: $20 per person.

Entry includes:

• Entry into the PIC Harbour Classic
• Two nights of berthing at Jellicoe Harbour
• Friday night Harbour Classic event
• Lagoon Owners Rally beach gathering with food, drinks, and snacks at Motuihe Island
