DESIGN

In collaboration with ocean racing design leaders VPLP, the Excess 14 is sure to impress. Constructed from an optimized structure foam sandwich reinforced with carbon, the asymmetrical hull design cuts through the water with maximised efficiency. Part of her distinctive look includes practical improvements like the increased bridge deck clearance and composite bowsprit. Unlike anything else on the market, this yacht is unique, innovative and dynamic.

PERFORMANCE

The sensations of fast sailing are at your fingertips with the twin aft helm stations and textile steering in close proximity to the extended rudders. The mast is set further back, allowing for more sail area forward. Featuring a low boom and high aspect ratio rig, with a square top mainsail and overlapping genoa, optimize this boats sailing abilities. Combined with low freeboard to reduced windage and excellent visibility at each helm, this boat will delight with its speed and agility!

INTERIOR

The Excess 14 offers never seen before layout options. Three options are available, including: 4 Cabin 4 Heads charter version, 3 Cabin transformed and 3 Cabin owners versions.
All feature a light, airy interior designed by Nautia design. The saloon offers 360° views, with untinted windows for visibility through the boat while sailing. The boat is high volume with good headroom throughout, with no compromise on sailing or living spaces.
