The latest images of the Beneteau Gran Turismo 50 Alpine Edition have just been released, and it's not hard to imagine this yacht spending summer cruising some of New Zealand's best boating destinations.
From weekends at Waiheke and Great Barrier Island to longer trips through the Bay of Islands, the Hauraki Gulf or Marlborough Sounds, the GT50 appears purpose-built for the way many Kiwis use their boats. The cockpit flows naturally into the saloon, the swim platform creates another social space at anchor, and the layout encourages people to spend more time outdoors.

The GT50 recently made its international in-water debut at the Venice Boat Show, introducing a completely new flagship for Beneteau's Gran Turismo range. Rather than simply making the boat bigger, Beneteau has rethought how owners move through the yacht, entertain aboard and spend time on the water, resulting in a far more usable layout than previous generations.
The Alpine Edition gives the GT50 an even more distinctive look, and we think it will appeal to New Zealand owners wanting a modern express cruiser that balances performance with comfortable weekend cruising.

Also on display in Venice were the Gran Turismo 40 and the new Grand Trawler 63, highlighting the strength of Beneteau's growing motor yacht range. Shortly afterwards, more than 30 international journalists sea-trialled the latest models along Italy's Adriatic coastline, providing the first independent impressions of these exciting new releases.
We're looking forward to seeing the Gran Turismo 50 in person and introducing New Zealand buyers to Beneteau's latest generation of motor yachts.
